"Hi there. I recently came in to pb tech just yesterday to purchase a new gaming monitor. I had already been in a few month prior and one of you sales suggested a couple of good potential monitor, although they were good they were not at all ideal. As I am a console player only. So yesterday when I came in, and asked about them again I had a different sales person. Jordan Sharplin. I told him about the one the other sales had suggested, jordan said. oh that's odd I wonder why he suggested that because that version wouldn't actually work for what I wanted so he had a look himself. He ended up finding the perfect monitor for me. A very nice Acer and it was even better quality than the previously suggested screens. This man Jordan saved from certain dooms and I am so happy with the monitor I have purchased. It is beautiful and it runs spectacularly. Could not be happier. Well I could be happier actually, this young man Jordan sharplin is sharp with his knowledge of these technologies. He was very patient and listened very well, to use is super pb tech abilities to find the best version of best monitors for me. I fully support that this man deserves a PAY RISE. He is an amazing customer service he is humble and excited happy and smiling he wasn't just trying to sell a screen to make a sale he wanted to help the person in need good vibes all round I would absolutely love to walk in to your hornby branch again when I come to get my computer in.a later date. But to find out this man got a pay rise for being such an incredible part of your team. He knows his stuff and he doesn't fluff around. Pay rise this man today. God only knows we deserve one, especially the good ones like Jordan. It's not every day you walk in to a shop. And leave with the feeling that you can't wait to go back. Thank you very much, Jordan you have made my Christmas. And pbtech you have earned your next valued customer. Merry Christmas. And happy new year"
As always, these plans could change, and setbacks could occur, but this would be a major boon for Apple, which has put an increasing amount of stock in its services division in recent years. By uniting the platforms, the likes of Netflix and Twitter could simply open up their mobile apps to macOS users without having to build an entirely new app for Mac computers. It’s worth noting that there are still no plans to combine iOS and macOS into one platform.
The only problem I have encountered with both Fire Tablets is their very finicky Location Services. I would have given the Fire HD 8 Five Stars if the Location Services worked better and therefore enabled me to restore from a backup. I will always have to setup as a new device every time I upgrade a device because it takes this brand tablet almost 24 hours to find my location if it even ever does?!
Android is a Linux-based operating system that Google offers as open source under the Apache license. It is designed primarily for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. Android supports low-cost ARM systems and others. The first tablets running Android were released in 2009.[124] Vendors such as Motorola[125] and Lenovo[126] delayed deployment of their tablets until after 2011, when Android was reworked to include more tablet features.[127] Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), released in 2011 and later versions support larger screen sizes, mainly tablets, and have access to the Google Play service. Android includes operating system, middleware and key applications. Other vendors sell customized Android tablets, such as Kindle Fire and Nook, which are used to consume mobile content and provide their own app store, rather than using the larger Google Play system, thereby fragmenting the Android market.[128]
I wish Microsoft charged less for 256GB of storage and that it offered USB Type-C on this device, but otherwise, the Surface Pro 6 offers a nearly perfect combination of performance, endurance and ergonomic comfort. And if you want a digital pen, the integration with Windows 10 is excellent. Microsoft has once again made the productivity 2-in-1 to beat.

Jobs later said that Apple had begun developing the iPad before the iPhone.[27][28] Jonathan Ive in 1991 had created an industrial design for a stylus-based tablet, the Macintosh Folio, as his first project for Apple; by 2004 his studio at the company was participating in the development of a large tablet prototype, which he later described as "very crude, involving projectors". Ive stated that after seeking to produce the tablet first, he came to agree with Jobs that the phone was more important,[29] as the tablet's innovations would work as well in it.[30] The iPad's internal codename was K48, which was revealed in the court case surrounding leaking of iPad information before launch.[31]

"Five stars++ Always have had great service from PB Tech - a great range of products and prompt delivery. Recently I brought some incorrect additional memory for my computer. I contacted PB Tech, who advised the correct product. They quickly and efficiently sorted out a return, credited my account and then went the extra mile and ordered me the correct memory using some of the credit. PB Tech totally rocks!"
The iPad remains the best tablet for the money, whether you're a student looking for your first computer or someone who simply wants an easy-to-use device that has a wide array of apps. I appreciated the snappy performance from the A10 Fusion chip, especially when I was trying out augmented reality apps. And while I'm the furthest thing from an artist, I can see the appeal of the Apple Pencil for drawing, taking notes and giving more pop to presentation.
Alongside the launch of the fourth generation hardware, Apple announced the iPad Mini. With a screen measuring 7.9 inches, it is aimed at the emerging sector of smaller tablets such as the Kindle Fire and Nexus 7. The hardware of the new iPad Mini is similar to the iPad 2, with a 1,024 by 7,68 pixel resolution screen and a dual core A5 processor, but is 53% lighter and 7.2 mm thick. It was released on November 2, 2012, in 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB capacities and Wi-Fi or Wi‑Fi + Cellular versions.[60]
Nokia had plans for an Internet tablet since before 2000. An early model was test manufactured in 2001, the Nokia M510, which was running on EPOC and featuring an Opera browser, speakers and a 10-inch 800×600 screen, but it was not released because of fears that the market was not ready for it.[41] Nokia entered the tablet space in May 2005 with the Nokia 770 running Maemo, a Debian-based Linux distribution custom-made for their Internet tablet line. The user interface and application framework layer, named Hildon, was an early instance of a software platform for generic computing in a tablet device intended for internet consumption.[42] But Nokia didn't commit to it as their only platform for their future mobile devices and the project competed against other in-house platforms and later replaced it with the Series 60.[43] Nokia used the term internet tablet to refer to a portable information appliance that focused on Internet use and media consumption, in the range between a personal digital assistant (PDA) and an Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC). They made two mobile phones, the N900 that runs Maemo, and N9 that run Meego.[44]

The most direct benefit of the Marzipan project will be to make life easier for the millions of developers who write software for Apple’s devices. For example, later this year Netflix Inc. would be able to more easily offer a Mac app for watching video by converting its iPad app. By 2021, Twitter Inc., which has mostly abandoned the Mac, could publish a single app for all Apple customers.
"A very big thank-you to the young man at PB Tech's call centre who spent a long time working out with me the best and cheapest technical upgrade to my computers when I found that they could not handle a new program. His own technical knowledge was excellent, but whenever he needed more input, or double-checking, from his supervisor he put me on hold for a short time and got it. In short, he went out of his way to make sure that I had quality information on which I could rely in absolute confidence. And, even better, it was a future-proof solution. I ordered the part (a graphics card), it arrived the next day, it was exactly right, and was soon fitted. Brilliant! If we got service of such excellence everywhere (especially in the government), New Zealand would be a far better place. Take a bow, PB Tech!"
However, the resolution on the Surface Pro is higher and is 1920x1080, and the screen has a Wacom digitizer for pen input. Surface Pro runs a dual-core 1.7 GHz Intel Core i5-3317U CPU, with a Turbo Boost frequency of up to 2.6 GHz with a built-in Intel HD Graphics 4000. It has 4 GB of memory and a 64 or 128 GB solid-state drive. Unique to the Surface and Surface Pro is the kickstand which can be flipped out from the back, propping the device up. The kickstand comes out of the devices at a 22 degree angle, the same angle the edges of the device are angled at.[14]

I bought this to replace an iPad Air which was stolen. The Air was 4-6 years old so I thought this would be a big improvement. Nope. Same screen size, same WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, interface. The only thing new was the touchpad ID system, which I do appreciate. The voice-to text feature was less functional than my moto x4, which costs 1/3 of this iPad.
